A deer leaping in ink wash, a big cat dissolving into brush marks, koi circling in orange, ridged peaks over a still lake, a yin-yang of two landscapes, rust-brown droplets, an ink blot and a pale watercolour star.

Chinese brush painting
The richest group follows the ink tradition: animals left half-finished on purpose, a landscape with a lone boat, two elders over a xiangqi board. The empty paper is part of the composition, so give these images room and a light background rather than cropping tight.
Paint as texture
Droplets, blots and fine spray are not subjects but layers: a coffee-stain effect, a grunge accent behind a headline, a marker on a map. They take a colour overlay well, so one file can serve several palettes.
Loose ends
A blank wine bottle, a chaise longue, a flat grey cat avatar, grapes in brown outline and a cartoon blood drop carry the tag without showing much paint. They are here because of the source labels.
Questions and answers
Are all paint images really transparent?
Real. We parse the PNG structure and keep only files with an alpha channel; anything with a painted-in background has been removed.
What sizes are available?
Originals range from 603 to 5 833 pixels. On download you can shrink to 64–1024 px; enlarging beyond the original is not offered.
How many files can I download?
No sign-up needed. The file is served after a short wait on the download page.
What is the licence?
Personal and educational projects — freely. For commercial use check the rights with the original source, especially for logos, characters and photos of people.
