Mostly brush and ink
Most of the section follows East Asian ink painting: wet washes, blossoms on knotted branches, mountains fading into mist, a big cat whose body dissolves into brush marks. These pieces rely on a pale ground and look best with generous empty space around them.
Canvas and gallery pieces
A second, smaller group shows paintings as objects: a canvas print of a cow at an angle, a framed red cow on lilac, a painted folding fan. They suit wall art shops and gallery listings, where the frame itself is part of what is on sale.
Effects rather than pictures
Ink blots, rust-brown droplets and a pale blue watercolour star are building material, not finished paintings. Use them as textures behind a heading or as stains on a mock-up; a scorpion engraving and a scroll frame have also been filed here, though they are drawings rather than paint.
