Feathers and airframes
The word covers two worlds. Birds and angels give soft, curved wings suited to sympathy cards, club emblems and nature pages. Aircraft give straight, swept wings: silhouettes for a booking page, three-view drawings for model builders, climbing fighters for an air show poster.
Technical drawings
Several pictures are plans rather than illustrations: top, front and side views drawn to the same scale, wireframe outlines in fine grey. They make good reference sheets and blueprint backdrops, but lose detail quickly when shrunk.
Things tagged by accident
Brush strokes, a starfish, a planet outline and bunting ended up here because of the drawing style rather than any wing. If you need a winged motif, look at the preview first.
Questions and answers
Are all wing images really transparent?
All 34 images carry a real alpha channel. On the image page you can switch the backdrop to white or dark to see the edges.
Are there large files for print?
The largest files in this set reach 3 385 px. For print choose 2000 px and up in PNG; for the web 500–800 px in WebP.
How many files can I download?
No registration. The only limit is a few dozen files per minute per address, so the catalogue cannot be bulk-scraped.
Can I use wing images commercially?
Terms depend on the specific image. We neither sell files nor issue licences; for commercial work check the source named on the image page.
