East Asian brushwork
The goats, the mountain lake with its tiny boat and the cherry branch follow the conventions of ink painting: soft washes, empty space, few hard edges. They hold together as a set on a gallery listing or a book cover.
Paint as texture
The magenta stroke, thick in the middle and frayed at both ends, is the one piece made to sit behind type. Put a headline or a price on top of it.
Flat vectors under the label
The cat face, the grape outline, the woman combing her hair and the guitar are vector drawings rather than paintings. Check the style before combining them with the washes above.
Questions and answers
Are all painted images really transparent?
Real. We parse the PNG structure and keep only files with an alpha channel; anything with a painted-in background has been removed.
Are there large files for print?
In painted the sizes run from 647 to 5 833 px on the long side. Large ones are easiest to find with the “Largest” sort or the minimum-width filter.
Do I need to register to download?
Downloads are free and open. With very frequent requests the site asks to confirm you are not a robot — a normal visitor never sees it.
What is the licence?
Personal and educational projects — freely. For commercial use check the rights with the original source, especially for logos, characters and photos of people.
