Bone in Medicine & Health
Anatomy lays out the body in diagrams, tooth has its own page, brain and pill cover the rest of the clinic. Bone is about the skeleton itself — skulls, joints, single bones — whether seen by a doctor, a biologist or an artist. Right now it leans hard towards animal skulls rather than X-ray material.
Western, gothic or natural history
The longhorn and the bison skulls belong to the desert: ranch branding, western posters, country music. The carved bull skull is decorative art with a darker, gothic edge, good for tattoo studios and band merchandise. The sand dollar is really the shell of a sea creature, handy for beach and marine-life pages. None of these suits a clinical leaflet.
Before using one
Line-drawn skulls recolour cleanly and stay crisp small; the photo of the carved skull loses its ornament when reduced. Horns spread wide, so these images want a landscape slot. On a dark background the black silhouettes vanish — reverse them to white in the editor.
