Rainbow in the Weather section
Rain, Storm, Snow and Lightning cover the rough side of the forecast; Rainbow is the bright moment after a shower. The category holds arcs and anything arranged in spectral order, which is why objects sorted by colour turn up here next to the real thing.
The flat arc
The arc is a plain vector half-circle with solid bands and a hollow centre, no gradient and no clouds. That makes it easy to tuck behind a heading, set clouds at both feet or recolour the bands to match a palette. It suits a weather widget, a nursery wall print or a "sunny spells" icon in a forecast.
Colour in everyday things
The lighters are a studio photo with translucent plastic, so their colours tint whatever lies beneath. The clock is a real object shot straight on, with a dot for each hour going round the colour wheel — a nice visual for a lesson on colours or a post about time management, rather than for a forecast.
