Here constellations come as zodiac animals rather than star charts: a ram's head under an ornate red Aries, a round yellow bull circled by stars and comets, a golden ram with a scalloped fleece, a papercut rat inside a red seal and a painted ox carrying a small rider.

Constellation next to star and planet
In the Space section, star and planet cover the objects themselves and solar system their arrangement. Constellation is about the patterns people read into the sky, and in practice that means the signs of two zodiacs: the Western one with Aries and Taurus, and the Chinese one with its year animals. Real star maps are rare here; for glowing dots and lines, look at star first.
Western or Chinese
Don't mix them by accident. The ram with the word Aries belongs on a horoscope page; the rat seal and the painted ox point to the lunar calendar and a new year greeting. The yellow bull with stars is friendly enough for a birthday card or a children's horoscope; the golden ram looks like a figurine or a trophy.
Using the images
Zodiac art often sits inside a circle or seal, which makes it easy to line up in a grid of twelve. Check that decorative lettering is spelled in the language you need, since it can't be edited. Papercut designs work best in a single strong colour on a plain ground.
