Checks before placing
Jewellery photos rely on highlights; on a dark background they sparkle, on white the metal edge can fade. Stones often have semi-transparent facets, so a coloured background may show through. The scalloped frame and the ringed planet are not jewellery at all — they came in on the word 'ring' and belong to design and space layouts.
