Christian monograms and crosses: a Chi Rho drawn in tapering outline, a stark monogram of a triangle crossed by a vertical stroke, a polished steel cross with bevelled edges and a heavy black anchor, an early Christian sign of hope. Alongside them sit farmyard animals linked to the Nativity — a flat cartoon cow and a goat in a Santa hat.

Jesus among the Religion categories
In the Religion section, Cross holds the cross itself in all its forms, Church the buildings, Bible the book, Angel and Saint the figures around the faith. Jesus is the category for signs and images that point to Christ directly — monograms like the Chi Rho, symbolic crosses, and the stable scene of Christmas.
Which symbol says what
The Chi Rho is one of the oldest Christian marks, built from the first two Greek letters of Christ's name; it suits a parish bulletin or a stained glass study better than a plain cross. The anchor stands for hope and was used when open symbols were risky. The steel cross looks modern and fits memorial and jewellery contexts. The stable animals belong to Christmas cards, not to liturgy.
Before you place it
Outline monograms scale and recolour without losing shape, which makes them good for print and engraving. The metallic cross carries its own highlights, so it only sits well on a neutral background. For a church brand, keep to one symbol and one line weight across all materials.
