Settings has gears and sliders, Notification the bell and badges, Button the clickable shapes themselves. Menu is narrower: the symbol that hides navigation until tapped, plus close icons that replace it once the panel is open.

Three horizontal lines usually open the main navigation; three vertical dots open actions for one item; three horizontal dots suggest more options. Picking the wrong one confuses users, so match the icon to what the tap actually reveals.

What a good file looks like

Menu icons sit at small sizes, so choose ones drawn on a square grid with even stroke weight. Rounded bar ends suit friendly apps, square ends suit dashboards. A transparent background lets the icon take the header colour without a white box around it.
