Transparent feather images in PNG
Feathers here come attached to whole birds: a glossy black crow mid-step, a silver-grey crane dancing with raised wings, a heron with tribal patterns standing in blue reeds, a painted orange songbird holding a red heart, and a copper-coloured eagle diving over a mint circle. Two ink paintings — broad brush strokes and a shoal of small fish — complete the set.

Realistic and stylised birds
The crow is a photo cut out to the claws, useful for Halloween posters or a gothic book cover. The heron and the eagle are richly patterned illustrations where every feather is drawn as a separate shape; they look best large, on a poster or a T-shirt print, where that detail can be seen.
Warm and symbolic
The songbird on a branch, painted with visible brush marks in orange, green and yellow, carries a heart in its beak — a ready image for Valentine's Day or a love letter. The pale crane with droplet texture reads as winter or as a symbol of long life in East Asian design.
Ink work
The dark brush strokes and the fish shoal are Chinese ink paintings with small red seals. They have little to do with feathers but suit calm, minimalist layouts: spa brochures, tea packaging, a meditation app.
Questions and answers
Is the transparency real or a painted checkerboard?
Real. We parse the PNG structure and keep only files with an alpha channel; anything with a painted-in background has been removed.
What sizes are available?
In feather the sizes run from 600 to 1 200 px on the long side. Large ones are easiest to find with the “Largest” sort or the minimum-width filter.
How many files can I download?
Downloads are free and open. With very frequent requests the site asks to confirm you are not a robot — a normal visitor never sees it.
Can I use feather images commercially?
Personal and educational projects — freely. For commercial use check the rights with the original source, especially for logos, characters and photos of people.
