Launcher tiles and bare glyphs
Some of these are finished tiles with a rounded square, gradient and gloss, ready to stand in for an app on a phone mock-up. Others are single-colour glyphs like the outlined crescent or the funnel, which still need a button or a coloured backing around them.
Matching the function
The magnifier means search, the funnel means filter, the puzzle piece means plug-ins or extensions, and the overlapping pages mean copy or documents. Pick by the action the button performs rather than by colour, then recolour if the palette clashes.
Mixing styles
Glossy tiles from an older desktop era look out of place next to flat line icons. Keep one family per toolbar so the interface reads as a single product.
Questions and answers
Is the transparency real or a painted checkerboard?
Real. We parse the PNG structure and keep only files with an alpha channel; anything with a painted-in background has been removed.
What sizes are available?
In application the sizes run from 1 024 to 4 096 px on the long side. Large ones are easiest to find with the “Largest” sort or the minimum-width filter.
Do I need to register to download?
No sign-up needed. The file is served after a short wait on the download page.
What is the licence?
The catalogue gathers images from open sources. Before commercial use confirm the rights with the author — the source link is on the image page.
