One weight per set

Most of these are drawn with thick strokes and rounded ends, the line weight interface kits use at small sizes. Mixing them with hairline outlines makes a toolbar look patched together, so match stroke thickness before you match subject.

Filled or outlined

Filled glyphs like the scales or the chevrons stay readable at the smallest sizes and on busy backgrounds. Outlined ones like the goggles or the cup need a bit more room but feel lighter in a settings menu or an onboarding screen.

Colour buttons

The orange question-mark disc, the blue download button and the yellow star with a number are finished elements rather than glyphs. Use them where a single call to action has to stand out, not in a row of neutral icons.

Questions and answers

Is the transparency real or a painted checkerboard?

Real. We parse the PNG structure and keep only files with an alpha channel; anything with a painted-in background has been removed.

What sizes are available?

In icon Design the sizes run from 700 to 1 600 px on the long side. Large ones are easiest to find with the “Largest” sort or the minimum-width filter.

Do I need to register to download?

No registration. The only limit is a few dozen files per minute per address, so the catalogue cannot be bulk-scraped.

What is the licence?

The catalogue gathers images from open sources. Before commercial use confirm the rights with the author — the source link is on the image page.
