Plum and cherry
Most branches here are plum blossom — small round red flowers on dark, angular wood, a winter-to-spring symbol in Chinese and Vietnamese art. The pink spray is gentler and closer to cherry, which reads more as spring and Japan.
Placing a branch
These pieces are designed to enter the frame from a side or corner, leaving the middle empty. Let the trunk touch the edge of the canvas and put your text in the open space the blossoms point towards.
Occasions
Plum branches are standard on Lunar New Year cards, red envelopes and tea packaging. The cherry spray is the safer pick for a spring sale or a wedding menu where a strong red would feel too loud.
Questions and answers
Are all blossom images really transparent?
Yes. Every file is checked for an alpha channel rather than a white or chequered backdrop. Images without real transparency do not enter the catalogue.
Are there large files for print?
Originals range from 750 to 3 630 pixels. On download you can shrink to 64–1024 px; enlarging beyond the original is not offered.
Do I need to register to download?
No registration. The only limit is a few dozen files per minute per address, so the catalogue cannot be bulk-scraped.
What is the licence?
Personal and educational projects — freely. For commercial use check the rights with the original source, especially for logos, characters and photos of people.
