7 benzene PNG images with transparent background
Aromatic rings in several notations: toluene drawn with a circle inside the hexagon, acridine and cinnoline with alternating double bonds, imidazopyridine, a larger drug-like molecule with a pyrrolidine tail, a scheme splitting benzene into smaller fragments, and a ball-and-stick model with the delocalised bonds shown as dashes.

Two ways to draw the ring
The circle-in-hexagon form stresses that the six electrons are shared evenly around the ring; the Kekulé form with three alternating double bonds is easier to count electrons on. Both appear here, which makes the set handy for a lesson on aromaticity or resonance: put the two side by side and explain why they describe the same molecule.
Fused rings
Acridine and cinnoline show benzene rings joined edge to edge with nitrogen swapped in. The long molecule with a methoxy group, stacked aromatic rings and an ethoxy-pyrrolidine chain is the type of structure found in pharmacology papers.
The 3D model
In the ball-and-stick picture, dashed inner lines stand for the delocalised pi bonds, a detail flat formulas cannot show. It is cropped at the top, so it works as a banner strip or a corner decoration rather than a complete diagram.
Questions and answers
Is the transparency real or a painted checkerboard?
Real. We parse the PNG structure and keep only files with an alpha channel; anything with a painted-in background has been removed.
What sizes are available?
Originals range from 601 to 1 200 pixels. On download you can shrink to 64–1024 px; enlarging beyond the original is not offered.
How many files can I download?
No sign-up needed. The file is served after a short wait on the download page.
Can I use benzene images commercially?
Personal and educational projects — freely. For commercial use check the rights with the original source, especially for logos, characters and photos of people.
