What makes a picture work on a wall
A decal is either cut from vinyl or printed on film, and the two need different artwork. Cut vinyl wants a solid single-colour shape with clean edges, like the black sand dollar or the eagle emblem: no gradients, no thin hairlines that would tear when the backing is peeled off. Printed film can carry soft colour, which is why the watercolour map belongs on the second list.
Matching the room
The grinning globe is made for a nursery or a classroom corner, the map for a study or a travel-themed hallway, the sea motif for a bathroom or a beach house. The heraldic piece fits a games room or a fantasy-styled bedroom.
Before sending to print
Check that the file stays sharp when scaled to the real size of the wall, and leave a margin around the shape for cutting. The notebook cover with a portrait is merchandise artwork rather than a decal design.
