Banners for text
A scroll-style ribbon is a ready slot for a heading: an award name, a date, a shop slogan. Leave some padding at the folded ends so the lettering does not run into the curls.
Bows for decoration
Satin bows and bow garlands dress up gift pages, wedding invitations and seasonal shop headers. A single bow in a corner often does more than a whole border.
Awards and prizes
Medals on ribbons mark winners in contests, school events and ranking tables. Gold, silver and bronze in one image save time when building a podium or leaderboard.
Questions and answers
Are all ribbon images really transparent?
Yes. Every file is checked for an alpha channel rather than a white or chequered backdrop. Images without real transparency do not enter the catalogue.
What sizes are available?
In ribbon the sizes run from 960 to 8 000 px on the long side. Large ones are easiest to find with the “Largest” sort or the minimum-width filter.
How many files can I download?
No registration. The only limit is a few dozen files per minute per address, so the catalogue cannot be bulk-scraped.
What is the licence?
Personal and educational projects — freely. For commercial use check the rights with the original source, especially for logos, characters and photos of people.
