One metal, different stories
The trumpet belongs to music, the scales to law and choice, the bell to schools and old signalling, the crown to awards and royalty. What unites them is the gleam of polished metal, so the collection is handy when a design needs a golden accent that is not flat yellow.
Polished or aged
The trumpet and scales shine as if freshly cleaned; the bell carries wear and patina. Shiny pieces fit premium badges and posters, while the worn surface adds history to antiques listings and museum pages.
Small parts
Buttons and cartridges show brass as a material rather than a symbol. They serve sewing shops, craft kits and ballistics charts, where a close look at the metal matters more than the object's meaning.
Questions and answers
Are all brass images really transparent?
Yes. Every file is checked for an alpha channel rather than a white or chequered backdrop. Images without real transparency do not enter the catalogue.
What sizes are available?
The largest files in this set reach 3 250 px. For print choose 2000 px and up in PNG; for the web 500–800 px in WebP.
How many files can I download?
Downloads are free and open. With very frequent requests the site asks to confirm you are not a robot — a normal visitor never sees it.
What is the licence?
The catalogue gathers images from open sources. Before commercial use confirm the rights with the author — the source link is on the image page.
