Sea, beach or marine life?
The Nature section splits the coast in two. Beach holds the sand and what people bring to it; Sea is broader and takes in the water itself, its horizon and what washes out of it — shells, starfish, the view from the shore. Fish, whales and dolphins in their own right live in the Animals section.
Flat icon or photograph
The badge, the sunrise and the numeral are flat vector-style drawings, tiny in weight and sharp at any size — handy for a summer camp logo or a counting worksheet. The starfish is a cut-out photograph: keep it close to its original size and give it a soft shadow on a coloured background, or it may look pasted on.
Holiday mood
Most of these images carry vacation feeling rather than marine science. For a travel banner, a seaside café menu or a school-break notice they work well; for an article on ocean ecology, look for something more documentary.
