Cat versus pet and wildlife
Domestic cats belong here; big cats and other species have their own places in the Animals section. If you need any household animal, the pet category casts a wider net. Tigers, lions and leopards are better searched under their own names.
Checking a cat file
Whiskers and ear tufts are the first things a careless cut-out loses. Zoom in: thin white lines should still be there, not clipped off at the face outline. On silhouettes, make sure the tail is a closed shape rather than a stroke that breaks when scaled.
Picking a size
A flat face icon stays readable at avatar size, so a small file is enough. Photographs of fur need the largest version on offer if they are going onto a poster.
