Physics among the sciences
chemistry has molecules and flasks, biology cells and organisms, mathematics and geometry figures on paper. Physics covers forces and motion, light, electricity, magnets and heat: simple machines like levers and pulleys, circuits, prisms, pendulums and the formulas that describe them.
Diagrams first
Most physics pictures are there to explain a mechanism, so a clean diagram is worth more than a pretty photo. A pulley sketch with arrows for force and direction slots into a lesson slide, a revision sheet or a quiz; a photo of real apparatus helps when pupils need to recognise equipment in the lab.
Accuracy
Physics diagrams get read by people who know the subject. Before publishing, make sure arrows point the right way, ropes attach where they should and the units in any labels are correct. If you remove text from a worksheet, keep the proportions of the drawing intact.
